What to Watch on Friday: TNT serves up more ‘Cold Justice’

“Cold Justice” is a docuseries in which a former Texas prosecutor and a former Las Vegas crime scene investigator travel to small, under-resourced towns to help local officials solve cold murder cases.

Cold Justice (9pm, TNT) - Faithful Happiness is a Warm TV readers know I love this show – a docuseries in which a former Texas prosecutor and a former Las Vegas crime scene investigator travel to small, under-resourced towns to help local officials solve cold murder cases. TNT says that “Cold Justice” investigations have so far helped local law enforcement and prosecutors secure 12 arrests, eight criminal indictments, four confessions, two guilty pleas and a 22-year prison sentence. The network added six episodes to the series’ second season, and those six episodes start tonight. Tonight, Kelly Siegler and Yolanda McClary travel to a Texas town to dig up new clues in the 1988 death of a single mother. And if you want to see previous episodes, turn your television to TNT right now because they started a marathon at 3 a.m. that lasts through tonight’s summer premiere.

The Pool Master (9pm, Animal Planet) - Water garden and pool designer Anthony Archer-Willis creates backyard oases for homes and businesses in this new Animal Planet series, which I’m guessing has nothing to do with animals. Tonight, a project for a Kentucky resort that features a beach, a waterfall and a zip line.

Crossbones (10pm, NBC) - Kate is captured on a trading voyage, prompting Blackbeard and Lowe to join forces to rescue her. Before long, Lowe discovers that Blackbeard has a hidden motive.
