What to Watch on Thursday: Documentary series ‘NY Med’ is back

The second season of the acclaimed documentary series “NY Med” follows the staffs (including Dr. Mehmet Oz) and patients at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and at University Hospital in Newark.

NY Med (10pm, ABC) - The second season of this acclaimed documentary series follows the staffs (including Dr. Mehmet Oz) and patients at both New York-Presbyterian Hospital and at University Hospital in Newark. The season lasts for eight episodes. Let’s see if Dr. Oz can get through it without mentioning raspberry ketones.

Also on tonight . . .

Undateable (9pm, NBC) - I’m enjoying this sitcom way more than I ever thought I would. Brent Morin, who plays Justin, is a revelation as the goofy romantic (with a great “boy band” set of pipes). At 9, Justin pushes Danny’s relationship to a new level. At 9:30, Justin’s dad visits, and Danny gets involved in their complicated relationship.

Rookie Blue (9pm, ABC) - Andy and Nick raid an illegal gambling house.

Dominion (9pm, Syfy) - Alex rejects his new role as the Chosen One, but then a sleeper threat in Vega forces him to spring into action and protect the ones he loves. Meanwhile, Michael meets with Gabriel one last time before the war between angels and mankind reignites.
