What to Watch on Monday: ‘Hotel Hell’and ‘Newburgh Sting’ doc on HBO

The Newburgh Sting (9pm, HBO) - HBO airs this documentary examining the controversial case of four African-American men arrested in 2009 for plotting to blow up two synagogues in the Bronx and fire missiles at U.S. military planes. The men were convicted in 2010 and sentenced to 25 years in prison. The exposé, airing at 9 p.m., was directed and produced by Kate Davis and David Heilbroner.

Murder in the First (10pm, TNT) - An important witness turns up dead, potentially crippling the prosecution’s case against Erich Blunt.
Under the Dome (10pm, CBS) - Big Jim and Rebecca consider the extreme measure of population control in order to extend resources in Chester’s Mill.
