She turned it into a charity event by asking guests to make a donation to benefit several nonprofits supported by the National Cosmetology Association, including Cut It Out: Salons Against Domestic Abuse. Charlotte media professional Barbara McKay had lunch with the legendary designer Oscar de la Renta at a special event in his honor at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta. McKay wore one of de la Renta's dresses to the event that also showcased his Resort Collection for 2010. "I was thrilled to be invited," said McKay.
