It might seem odd to be watering plants after a flood but Helen Redwine was helping out a friend, Ann Armstrong by washing the mud from the many mud-coated plants in Armstrong's garden. Redwine says that if the mud isn't washed off the plants will die because they won't be able to breathe. Armstrong lives at the corner of Hansen and Hampton Drives along Brier Creek. Residents along Hansen Drive started to clean up Wednesday afternoon after waters from Brier Creek burst from the stream to flood homes, cars and spread mud and debris across their yards. (John D.
