Charlotte Hornets forward Jeff Taylor was sentenced to 18 months of probation on Thursday in connection with a domestic violence conviction, according to multiple media reports.

Everyone showed up early Wednesday night – except for the Charlotte Hornets. They finally got there, though, and what an entrance they made. Their 108-106 overtime win against Milwaukee was one of those remarkable “remember when” moments – a thoroughly fitting tribute to the original teal and purple.

Stephenson’s shot lagged in Wednesday’s 108-106 overtime win, but the Hornets’ hottest free-agent signing made up for it with his ball distribution and hard work on the glass.

A day after signing Kemba Walker to four more years in Charlotte, the Hornets locked up Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Cody Zeller for another year before the newly branded Hornets tipped off the 2014-15 season.
