A second man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a BB&T bank in Kings Mountain on Jan. 21, authorities said today.
According to the Kings Mountain Police Department, Thomas Lee Adams, 47, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., was arrested in Winston-Salem and charged with one felony count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one felony count of conspiracy.
He was being held in the Cleveland County Detention Center under a $150,000 bond.
Steven Scott Cline, 46, of Gastonia, was charged earlier with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit armed robbery in connection with the robbery of the bank on East King Street.
