Authorities arrested three men and seized marijuana along with about $40,000 in cash following a raid at a home in the Denver area Thursday night.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Michael Dustin Slaughter, 22, of Newton and William Howie Crane, 22, and Randall Ian Mahaffey, 24, both of Denver, were charged with possession with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The men were being held in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond each.
Officers reported seizing 550.1 grams of marijuana valued at $1,800 along with scales, baggies, grinders and 3 handguns.
Police were still looking for the homeowner, Corey Jamaal Howard, 22, who fled the residence on foot. He faces the same charges, along with an additional charge of maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, authorities said.
