The Charlotte Department of Transportation will host a public meeting Tuesday to discuss planned improvements on Tyvola Road West, between South Tryon Street and West Boulevard.
Tyvola Road West is included in the DOT's Farm-to-Market program, which provides a variety of improvements for roads that once were in a rural part of the city but have become urbanized. Those improvemtns can include sidewalks, curb and gutter, bicycle facilities, medians, turning lanes and more.
At Tuesday's meeting, the public will be able to provide input on what it wants done on the road.
There will be two sessions Tuesday -- from 4-6 p.m., and from 6-8 p.m. The meetings will be at University Memorial Baptist Church, 4401 West Tyvola Road.
