Rowan County authorities have arrested a man and woman on drug charges, the sheriff's office says.
Michael Dickert Osborne, 22, and Keeley Anne White, 20, were arrested Tuesday and charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. White also was charged with maintaining a dwelling to keep, store and sell a controlled substance.
Deputies say they were contacted about a month ago by residents in the Ellis Cross Roads area of Rowan County who complained about drug activity.
On Dec. 9, detectives from the sheriff's office searched a residence in the 3500 block of Old Mocksville Road near Salisbury. Deputies say they seized more than 100 grams of marijuana and drug-related paraphernalia during that search.
Osborne and White live at the residence where the drugs were seized, deputies say.
