WHO: A somewhat legendary figure in punk circles, he first made a name for himself leading the well-received/well-reviewed Screaming Street Trash in the early to mid-'90s. Today he's fronting the latest incarnation of his band, the Dividers.
WHEN: 8 p.m. Saturday.
Never miss a local story.
WHERE: The Milestone Club, 3400 Tuckaseegee Road.
WHY: Zodiac Killer Records reissued Ward's Screaming Street Trash output this year. He also rarely steps on stage these days aside from his side project, Jeff Clayton and The Mongrels, which recently released its debut. Ward may offend and threatens to quit when he turns 40 in a few years, but he's an intense showman: He's been known to play until his hands bleed, without a hint of gimmickry.
