Experience the lifestyle of the Colonial Piedmont backcountry. Enjoy demonstrations of pottery, blacksmithing, basket weaving and rifle and cartridge making. There will be children’s crafts, Colonial games and free tours of the Hezekiah Alexander home site and museum. Charlotte Folk Society will lead a music jam featuring old-time Celtic and bluegrass music and hold an ice cream social.

Plaza Midwood’s free music festival features Holy Ghost Tent Revival, Big Daddy Love, Leadville Social Club, Satarah, The Business People and Heart of a Ghost. The festival will also showcase artists, craftspeople, artisans and craft beers.
