Historic Brattonsville will host Civil War re-enacements from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26.
Visitors can encounter history through interpreters and re-enactors as they tell the story of the Bratton family during the largest and most destructive conflicts in the Western world.
Battle re-enactments will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend will include cannon firing demonstrations, historic archery demonstrations, camp life activities, presentations and children’s military demonstrations. Historic interpreters dressed in 19th century clothing will guide guests through the antebellum plantation’s house museums.
Period reproduction items and family friendly food will be sold.

Admission is $8 adults, $6 seniors, $4 youth ages 4 to 17 and free for children younger than 3 and CHM members.
