As told by Sianneth:

On Christmas morning, Jason's gift to me was something I was definitely not expecting. He handed me a box that contained only a card. Inside was a picture of the two of us, Photoshopped into a cartoon hot air balloon! I had always wanted to do that -- Jason had not. He's not a fan of flying and the lack of control over a hot air balloon didn't necessarily make him comfortable with the idea. Also, being the auditor that he is, one who analyzes the risk in everything, hot-air ballooning never seemed like the safest thing to him. Regardless, he wanted to make me happy. So, the day after Christmas, he picked me up at 5:45 in the morning. We headed for Statesville where we met our hot-air balloon pilot and her husband. They were just getting everything ready, and in a matter of less than 15 minutes, the balloon was ready to fly. We climbed in and took off. At a height of about 3,000 feet, I was excitedly taking pictures of the beautiful view and Jason asked me, "Is this a good adventure?" I turned around and said, "Yes, of course, it's great!" Then my eyes caught a glimpse of the gorgeous ring he took out of his pocket as he said, "Want to go on another adventure with me?" Then he asked me to marry him, and I said yes!
