When Jessica Jarvis and Chris Cleland went out to BlackFinn with friends one night in 2011, they never expected to find love. “We spotted each other from across the room and he was smiling at me,” says Jessica. She decided to introduce herself, and after a night of singing “Don’t Stop Believing,” they knew they’d found something special. That December, that same Journey song would keep their relationship growing. “I came home from work to ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ blaring in the house,” she remembers. “When I found Chris he was on one knee. We both just bawled.” And throughout the planning process, music was a driving force in achieving their dream wedding. “We both love music,” says Jessica. “We didn’t mind if the songs weren't traditional; however, it was important that they were special to us.” Each song was selected because of a concert memory or its significance to their relationship. Drew, from Audio To Go, played “Ho Hey” as Jessica walked down the aisle and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” when the couple were announced husband and wife. “I told the DJ to just blast it,” she says. The party continued at the reception for the musical couple and their guests. Cassandra Mooney Bradley of BlueSky Studios was there to capture every dance, and ShutterBooth provided a photo booth for all the guests. “From the photo booth props ending up on the dance floor, to our friend Andy’s karaoke performance of ‘We Didn’t Start the Fire,’ it was such a blast,” she says. “I’ll never forget how much fun we had!” Featured Vendors
