"It's always a treat to work with Heather from Carolina Event Design because her designs are out of this world and a blast to shoot! I loved the ceiling treatment and soft color palette. The flowers were amazing and just set it all off! Revealing the room to Ashley, Tim, and her parents was so great—their faces were priceless and they were blown away." -Lucy Parker Randall, Smitten & Hooked Photography

“My wedding design transformed throughout the planning process, but it started with a clear vision for an elegant garden. My inspirations for the day were lace, pearls, and romantic/neutral colors. I wanted vintage details incorporated throughout the overall design, which included my dress, headpiece, our transportation, and all of the flowers. Heather of CED and I worked closely to ensure my vision for an elegant ‘peony paradise’ came to life.” -Ashley Borello Fogler, bride

“For Ashley and Tim, we wanted to really create a sense of warmth in the room and hone in on the rich, neutral color palette. A key component of this was using a mocha color ceiling treatment. We've seen ivory fabrics draped time and time again, so this unique colored fabric really blended all levels of the room. We implemented vintage lace, similar to that of Ashley's gown, on a majority of the glassware.” -Heather Bryson, Carolina Event Design

“Ashley had two requests to fill for her wedding: it had to be warm and romantic and there had to be chandeliers on her head tables. From there we choose flowers such as hydrangea, roses, and amaranthus in shades of champagne, taupe, and blush with the help of hundreds of candles to make the room glow. We used antiqued lace to wrap some of the candleholders for an extra dose of romance. For the head table we built a trellis laden with dripping flowers and suspended 3 vintage chandeliers over the bridal party to make them feel as if they were in a garden.” -Jonathan Davis, The Place for Flowers
