Bradley Rhyne and co-founder Filipe Ho started their men's clothing store Ole Mason Jar in 2013. They moved to their second floor space at 148 Brevard Court near Romare Bearden Park in uptown Charlotte about a year ago. The pair designs clothing that is made in the USA and often in North Carolina.
Torrence Shealy grew up in Clinton, S.C., and earned his MBA from the University of South Carolina. After a 38-year career with Springs Global, Shealy went into the cleaning systems business in 2010. This is his second tour in Charlotte; he and his wife, Marcie, and their college-student twins have lived here since 1993.

Hough High senior Isabella Frommelt started a movement urging her fellow students to go without makeup for a week. In February, Frommelt and more than 50 girls from Hough High, and surrounding schools participated in no makeup week.
