It appears NoDa Brewing is set to roll out its Girl Scout-inspired beer again, just in time for the end of cookie season in Charlotte.
The Charlotte brewery announced details of the release of this year’s cookie series, set for March 23.
Like last year, beers on tap will take on flavors inspired by popular Girl Scout cookies, such as the Samoan Blonde (a blonde ale inspired by the coconut-and-caramel favorite, Samoas), and the Tagging-a-Long Brown (a brown ale mimicking the peanut butter and chocolate taste of Tagalongs.)
For a true beer-and-cookie experience, the brewery also announced a beer pairing event for March 26. Participants can sample each beer in a flight for $9, accompanied by each beer’s corresponding cookie, according to the event page.
Never miss a local story.
The pairing could come as an appropriate solution for Charlotteans in need of a Girl Scout cookie fix, as public sales of the treats are entering their final weekend, an organization representative told the Observer.
