Health events around the Charlotte area

The Ivey memory wellness center will host “Aging Well: A healthy mouth can reduce major health concerns” 2-4 p.m. and again at 6-8 p.m. Thursday, 6030 Park South Drive, Charlotte. Rick Joubert, of Morrocroft Family Dentistry, has training in geriatric dentistry. He will speak about how good oral health is key to preventing disease in seniors. For caregivers, care is available for loved ones during the presentation with advance notice. Pre-registration requested: 704-909-2070.
