See The Gingerbread Competition
Pick up a Gingerbread Competition brochure, which are available throughout the inn. Follow the Gingerbread Path to see all of the winning entries. Start off by stopping by the Grand Prize Winner. It’s an unbelievable chessboard with stunning chess pieces on a rotating platform.
Just beyond the Grand Prize winner, you can see the Youth Top 10. Continue on the path deeper into the Vanderbilt Wing, to see the Teen Top 10 winners. On the Sammons Wing, you will find the Adult Top 10 and Child Top 10. Strategically placed, throughout the main floor, your walk to see the gingerbread competition gives you a beautiful overview of the many hotel offerings.
Don’t miss the breathtaking view from Sunset Terrace. Step out here for the view and a great photo op and have your family’s photograph made in Santa’s Sleigh. Don’t forget to snap one of the gorgeous views before you step back inside. If you have the time and find yourself wanting to stay longer, then grab a table, order lunch, and have a glass of wine.
If it’s too cold outside, there are plenty of indoor restaurants. Choose from a buffet, a quick bite at one of the bars, or a sit-down meal. If you’re unsure, go online and do a little research to help you decide which one is best for your family.
Need a Break
