The winner: If you have a ring that is too large for your finger, you can put a small dab of glue from a hot glue gun on the band and let it dry. It is easy to remove when not wanted or needed any more. It can save you a pricy trip to the jewelry story for an adjustment.

Clever reuse of greeting cards
My clever idea is to put all special occasion cards on a bulletin board and display them in a room being used for sewing or crafts. They make a display that is colorful and it saves money because no pictures have to be bought. The cards can be recycled to use on new homemade cards.

‘Hip’ trick uses cane and reacher
A friend of mine had hip replacement and was not able to bend down to pick up things off the floor, so she used a reacher device. This worked out fine until the reacher was somewhere else when she needed it. My friend used a cane to get around, so I Velcroed the reacher to the cane so it was always there when it was needed.
