Be prepared for power outage
I keep a flameless candle in each room of my house, and when the electricity goes out I do not have to go looking for my flashlight in the dark. Putting one in front of the bathroom mirror lights the whole room. In the living area it also serves as a decorative piece with greenery around the base. Betty Prudden, Indian Trail
Easy fix for missing bulbs
When I was unable to find replacement bulbs for the ones missing from my 40-year-old ceramic Christmas tree, I simply used glass or plastic beads and glued them on the hole. The bead fit perfectly.
