The winner: We needed storage for our mudroom. My husband found a white cabinet at a Habitat for Humanity ReStore for $15. He then bought some white bead board at a home improvement store to cover the three unfinished sides of the cabinet. No painting was necessary. I purchased some fabric and foam cushioning for the top. It fits our room and stores everything we need. Darlene Zupp, Charlotte
Nuke stamp to unstick it
I hate wasting a postage stamp on an envelope that I end up not needing to mail. The last time that happened, I put the envelope in the microwave, put it on quick defrost and ran it for 30 seconds. Voila! The stamp peeled right off and stuck to the next envelope so I didn’t waste a stamp. It was fast, easy and not messy. Experiment with the time and your microwave, as they might vary.
