I want to publicly thank Union County Sheriff Department Deputy Castrogiovanni. One recent night, our pet dog Coby got out and wandered up busy Hwy. 75 in Waxhaw. Our whole family was out trying to retrieve him. Thank the Lord this deputy was traveling down 75 when this happened. He immediately turned on his blue lights to alert traffic and stayed with us until our dog was retrieved safely. I can't thank him enough. You can be assured that this was witnessed by my young son, Ben, 13, and my wife, Marsha and the heavy traffic going down the road. What a fine example this was for us to see. David Hathcock, Waxhaw
