Nail polish is having a very extended, creative, exciting moment. Booming industry and growing fashion and beauty segment? Absolutely. A recent entry into my stable of faves? Greensboro-based Polish & Co. Founded by Theresa Williamson, the polish line is an extension of her long-standing nail salon and industry experience. “In today’s society, people are a lot more comfortable with expressing their individuality,” she said in a release. “I have plenty of male clients who are now wearing colored nail polish. Initially they seemed to want color only on their toes but there is definitely a growing trend to add color to their fingernails as well.” The three-free polish is high-gloss and best of all, wears great. I didn’t see a chip in my cherry red (Location Location Location) mani for nearly a week. Really.
