Creative Ways to Organize Your Purses

Women have an addiction to things like shoes, purses, and jewelry. We buy them to complete a look or outfit. We buy them because we needed some retail therapy. We buy them simply because they appealed to us that day.
But then we get them home and stuff them in the closet. We rarely change them out because we can’t find them in a hurry ... Or can’t find them at all!
Organize smaller, hand held purses in media baskets. The baskets have a great structure and will keep those small purses contained and easy to grab when you are heading out for a dinner or networking event.
Organize your larger, handled purses in a variety of ways. My favorite creative way is to attach hooks on the underside of a bookshelf. The hooks allow the purses to hang which helps them keep their shape.
Another suggestion is to hang them from a tension rod using shower curtain hooks. This is better if you have 5-10 medium sized purses. The rod will fall if it is too heavy.
Another idea is to attach a shelf to the wall in the closet or bedroom. If you attach the brackets upside down, then they become dividers thus helping the purses stand straight up.
Remember, keep purses organized by color and style. If you display purses like a boutique store, then you are more visually inclined to change them out.
Find what you need, when you need it!
How many purses, on average, do you own? Please share!
