When brothers Joe Haubenhofer and Conor Merrigan launched the roaming dinner club, Relish Carolina, they looked to the culinary community for others to help create the ultimate dining experience. Enter Bryan Brown. Known as the group’s Mr. Hospitality, Brown has a background as a private chef and a passion for hosting. Before Relish events he often goes so far as to read through the reservations and learn about the guests. “Our guests aren’t just numbers, “ says Brown. “They’re people with names and stories that we care about.” Guests are greeted on arrival with cocktails and given plenty of attention throughout the meal. “Our goal is restoring the lost art of gathering at the table so everything from getting you to the table, serving you at the table, and allowing you to relax and unwind at the table is most important to us,” says Brown.
