Charlotte’s Dewdrop Designs, the nationally acclaimed purveyor of handmade stationery and reclaimed leather goods, has taken its effortlessly cool, nature-inspired aesthetic to the kitchen with its latest collection. “I’m a big foodie and I love to cook, but today’s recipe cards felt so dated,” says owner and designer Gillian Stevens. “I wanted to modernize the kitchen product genre and put my spin on it.” Indeed. The new line is distinctly Dewdrop, with leather recipe binders and card holders emblazoned with botanical graphics, rendered in metallic ink. “I am absolutely inspired by Charlotte,” says Stevens, “most of my designs feature things you find outside. In Charlotte, you can be outside 350 days a year and find something organic to enjoy.” The collection is currently available online at www.dewdropdesigns.com, as well as Charlotte-area Dean & Deluca stores.
