Local photographer Kristin Vining has long been a favorite of the local bridal set. Her engagement and wedding photos at Kristin Vining Photography (KVP) have a way of making every woman feel extra special about her big day. So it should come as no surprise that when Vining recently launched KVP Woman, a version of her business dedicated to female portraiture, it was a fast hit. “It doesn’t matter what shape, size, or race, every woman wants to feel beautiful and I think there’s no better way than to enhance a woman’s best features by naturally documenting what they already have,” says Vining, whose sessions include professional hair, makeup, and styling in addition to the photography. From a kindergarten portrait to a “I’m turning 50!” photoshoot, the idea is to capture the essence of the woman in front of the lens. “I have always been passionate about making women feel beautiful,” says Vining. Styling and photography starts at $300 and photo collections following the shoot start at $475.
