CRAFT FAIR Asheville

Guild fair offers fine crafts downtown

July 18-21, the famed Southern Highland Craft Guild will stage its twice-a-year craft fair at the U.S. Cellular Center (formerly the Asheville Civic Center), 87 Haywood St., in downtown Asheville. About 200 artisans will sell their works, which range from fiber and glass to paper and jewelry. Admission: $8; younger than 12, free. Details: 828-298-7928; www.southernhighlandguild.org.
