Great Smoky Mountains Railroad’s annual RailFest is two days devoted to railroading, food, storytelling, events and special excursions. The big attraction is a visit by a steam locomotive that will offer rides Sept. 14-15 from Bryson City to Whittier throughout the weekend. A Sept. 15 dinner excursion is offered.
