Charlotte: Dedication service at 2 p.m. for a new military memorial section at Frazier Park, 1201 W. 4th St. VFW Post 9488 will present an honor guard for the service.
Davidson: Village Green, 11 a.m. The town of Davidson and American Legion Post 86 will present a Veterans Day observance. Keynote speaker is Maj. Gen. Charles Swannack, who commanded the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg from 2002 to 2004.
