A fast-food restaurant, a grocery store, and a convenience store were robbed Sunday night and early Monday in southeast and southwest Charlotte.
No injuries were reported and no shots fired in the robberies, police say.
There is no indication that the crimes were related.
The first robbery happened about 9:30 p.m. at the Wendy's restaurant in the 6000 block of East Independence Boulevard, a short distance east of Idlewild Road.
Police say two armed suspects robbed the place and ran off. Police got a solid description of the suspects in this case.
The first man was described as a black male in his early 20s, about 5 feet 7 and 180 pounds. He had shoulder-length dreadlocks and was wearing all black clothing -- pants, T-shirt, bandanna and a baseball cap.
Then, about 10:45 p.m., one armed man robbed the Harris Teeter store in the 10600 block of Providence Road -- a short distance southeast of Interstate 485.
Then, about 12:20 a.m., two armed men robbed a Petro Express in the 4900 block of South Tryon Street. That is at the corner of Yorkmont Road.
No arrests have been reported so far.
