Hopper Communities is launching a new townhouse project in Wesley Heights, just west of uptown.
Grandin Heights, at Grandin Road and West Fourth Street, will total 43 new townhouses and one historic building converted to a duplex. The townhouses will be built around an internal street network on the site, and will have two-car garages and balconies with views of the city skyline.
Led by Bart Hopper, the development company has been active lately in Charlotte’s for-sale market, building townhouses close to uptown. Hopper said he’s been looking at the Grandin site for a couple of years, and is encouraged that the second phase of the Gold Line streetcar is planned to pass nearby. Listed prices start at $380,000, and floor plans with two, three and four bedrooms are available.
The company is also behind SouthPoint at South End, a 53-unit townhouse development on Youngblood Street near Remount Road and South Tryon Street.
And Hopper Communities is planning to build 85 townhouses in Seversville, at a site on Wesley Heights Way that was formerly home to a church.
You can see detailed floor plans at Grandin Heights’ website, and you can see listings online here. The development team includes FMK Architects, ColeJenest & Stone landscape planning, the Jewell Agency marketing and sales by My Townhome.
