a profit for 4th straight quarter
Charlotte-based Bank of Commerce said Wednesday that it posted a third-quarter profit of $15,000, compared with a loss of $96,000 for the same period last year. The bank, which opened in February 2006, has now had four straight profitable quarters.
“I am proud of our team for going above and beyond to take care of our clients and shareholders even while other financial institutions are contracting,” said chief executive Wes Sturges in a statement. “I am very pleased with our ongoing profitability and asset growth.”
Total assets increased to $125.5 million from $107.4 million in the second quarter.
