Hendrix Business Systems, a 38-year-old Matthews digital imaging firm, announced plans Monday to expand into uptown Charlotte with a state-of-the-art technology center in Bank of America Corporate Center’s Founders Hall.

The new 1,800-square-foot Canon Technology Lab features up to $500,000 in hardware and software designed to give corporations in uptown Charlotte easy access to Hendrix’s document imaging and document management tools, said Roger Hendrix, president of the firm.
