NC’s jobless rate dips to 6.2% in April

North Carolina’s jobless rate dipped to 6.2 percent in April from 6.3 percent in March and 8.4 percent a year ago. The state’s jobless rate has been declining or flat month-over-month for the past 24 months. More than half the jobs have been in low skill and low wage.
