Keurig to make K-Cup coffee packs for Harris Teeter

Keurig Green Mountain will be the exclusive manufacturer of Harris Teeter K-Cup coffee packs, the Vermont coffee purveyor announced this week. The product will be available both online and at all Harris Teeter supermarkets.

Under the agreement, Keurig will offer a variety of coffee types marked with the Harris Teeter name and the Keurig Brewed seal.

Keurig Green Mountain will be responsible for sourcing, roasting, blending, and grinding the coffee in its facilities and packaging it in K-Cup packs. Matthews-based Harris Teeter, part of the Kroger Co., will distribute and market the product through its retail channels.

K-Cup packs are used to make single-serve coffee, tea, cocoa, and fruit brews with Keurig brewing system machines in homes, restaurants and offices.
