CBRE has sold a group of seven light industrial, warehouse, distribution and office buildings in Fort Mill, the commercial real estate company said Friday.
The buildings, in the Lakemont Industrial development, total 890,000 square feet. CBRE sold them for an undisclosed price to an institutional client of Invesco Real Estate, CBRE said. York County property records did not list the sale price as of Friday.
The buildings are 100 percent leased, and the occupants include Cardinal Health, Celgard, Mood Media, Samuel and Company and Staples, CBRE said.
“Portfolio offerings of this size are limited in Charlotte, so buyers viewed this as an opportunity to gain critical mass quickly,” said Patrick Gildea, first vice president with CBRE Charlotte Capital Markets, in a statement.
