Bank of America on Tuesday named a new treasurer, in a move that shifts the position from Charlotte to New York.
Andrei Magasiner, New York-based chief financial officer of the investment banking and trading divisions, becomes treasurer immediately, the Charlotte bank said in an internal announcement Tuesday, according to a person familiar with the matter. He replaces Greg Hackworth, who is retiring May 31 after a nearly two-decade career with Bank of America.
Hackworth, 47, reported to Chief Financial Officer Paul Donofrio, who is based in New York and reports directly to CEO Brian Moynihan.
The bank has announced other changes in its upper ranks in recent months. Since July, it has named a new CFO, general counsel, head of human resources and head of wealth management.
