Construction is about to get underway on a new development in Concord, bringing more townhouses and retail to the fast-growing area northeast of Charlotte.
Called Odell Commons, the project is on 23 acres at Odell School Road and Davidson Highway. The site is currently vacant and surrounded by woods.
The biggest part of the development consists of 101 townhouses by Pulte Homes. The developer hasn’t announced prices yet for the community.
In addition to the townhouses, the development also includes a Circle K, a Bojangles’ and more than three acres for additional commercial space that hasn’t been built yet. That could total up to 50,000 square feet of commercial space fronting Odell School Road.
Sherwood Development Group is the master developer of the site, and Bank of the Ozarks has provided financing.
