European Wax Center will open its sixth Charlotte location this year in Ballantyne Village.
The center offers a range of waxing services for women and men as well as skincare products like eyebrow care, skincare, brushes and tweezers. It will be located on the shopping center’s first level next to Verizon Wireless.
The wax center doesn’t have a specific opening date yet, but it will probably be late summer to early fall, Ed Camp, the shopping center’s general manager, said in an email to the Observer.
“We are excited to add to our lineup of health and beauty services, and are pleased to have European Wax Center join our Ballantyne Village family,” Camp said in a statement.
Ballantyne Village has been experiencing a wave of changes since it was bought by investors Vision Ventures and Mount Vernon Asset Management two years ago. Other recent additions include a new upscale women’s consignment shop called Nouveaux and a specialty cigar shop called Tinder Box.
