Alino Pizzeria, which opened in Mooresville in the spring, is expanding into South Carolina and Georgia.
The new location in Fort Lawn, S.C., will open in in a 6,200 square-foot space at 5840 Lancaster Highway in December, Alino’s said in a statement Thursday. The new restaurant in Jefferson, Ga., will open in in a 6,000 square-foot space at 28 Epps Street in February.
The pizzerias in each city will be located in the Merinos Home Furnishings mill complexes, which are owned by Alino co-owner Michal Bay. Both new restaurants will accommodate 200 diners inside and another 100 outside on the patio.
Alino’s menu features nine signature pizzas priced from $14 to $16. The restaurant imports flour, cheese, pepperoni, extra virgin olive oil and truffle oil from Italy and cooks its pies in 800 degree ovens, meaning they’re ready in less than two minutes.
