Luxury retailer Brahmin will soon open its first North Carolina boutique in SouthPark mall.
The American brand said in a statement recently it will open the week of Oct. 19 in a 2,033-square-foot space next to Louis Vuitton. Brahmin, which manufactures products out of its headquarters in Massachusetts, specializes in luxury handbags and accessories.
The retailer will host a grand opening event 6-8:30 p.m. Oct. 22 featuring fashion and lifestyle bloggers as well as the chance for a customer to win a Brahmin shopping spree and first look at the brand’s new collections.
The new Charlotte store will feature a living room and galley for complimentary services including beverages and gift-wrapping. The store will also feature access to Brahmin’s new category extensions including home décor, jewelry and a more robust men’s assortment.
Exclusive to the Charlotte store will be Brahmin’s Boutique handbag collection.
“We feel that SouthPark is the perfect location to share the forward momentum of our brand,” Brahmin’s Chief Executive Officer Susan Thacker said in a statement.
SouthPark mall has announced several store additions and relocations as it undergoes a massive renovation project. Others announced alongside Brahmin include the Disney Store and Victoria’s Secret PINK.
