More than 150 businesses promoted their products and services to a crowd of nearly 1,000 people Wednesday afternoon for the annual Business Showcase, a trade show co-hosted by the Charlotte Chamber and the Greater Charlotte Hospitality and Tourism Alliance.

The event, now in its 14th year, was at The Park Expo and Conference Center and featured sponsored business exhibits ranging from Carowinds to cab companies, hotels and local banks.

It cost $500 to set up a booth at the trade show, but entrance was free for attendees.

“It’s a great, affordable way for our members to really get exposure for their businesses,” said Cherise Walker, vice president of member engagement for the chamber.
