Deborah Hamilton writes that her sister’s creative use of two pumpkin cans – check out her feet – inspired her to capture this candid.
“My sister, husband and I decided to open a Great Harvest Bakery in North Charlotte,” Hamilton writes. The store is at 1824 E. Arbors Drive, off West Mallard Creek Church Road between Mallard Creek Road and Interstate 85.
“Here is a photo of my sister, Gail, at the kneading table rolling out dough for our delicious cinnamon rolls. Notice the cans of pumpkin. ‘Kneadless’ to say, she doesn’t let her lack of height keep her from getting the job done. In our family, where there is a will there is a way.”
For the peek inside the bakery, we’re sending Deborah Hamilton a ShopTalk travel mug. Send us your selfie and you could win a travel mug, too. Use your mobile device to take candid photos of yourself in your business, showing off what you do in your environment. You can ask someone to take photos of you, too, but we don’t want professional shots. We’re looking for candids that capture the selfie spirit.
