Motorists on one of Rock Hill’s busiest streets were given an unobstructed view of a man’s privates Wednesday morning when a 39-year-old man decided to hit the streets without pants or underwear.
The Rock Hill Herald reports the out-and-proud suspect, Derrick Melton, was charged with indecent exposure in connection with the display, which occurred about 10:19 a.m. Wednesday on Cherry Road.
A police report said he was found wearing a yellow shirt and nothing else, says the Herald.
Police reportedly asked Melton, 39, to return home and put on some pants, and the Herald quotes him as responding: “No, I’m a nudist … go ahead and arrest me for indecent exposure, because I’m not putting on any pants.”
The officers granted his wish, the Herald reports.
