The popular Charlotte cycling-based fundraiser 24 Hours of Booty has named a new executive director.
Peter R. Davis joins the organization from a career in marketing and branding, with stops at Bank of America and the NCAA. He earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Ohio and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
“I have had the opportunity to experience 24 Hours of Booty in Charlotte as a fan for the last three years, but having the privilege to now turn my attention to serve the cycling events and fundraising that positively impacts so many people is incredible,” Davis said in a statement.
24 Hours of Booty hosts annual day-long cycling events that raise money for cancer survivors. In Charlotte, the route follows the “Booty Loop,” a three-mile course through Myers Park. Its next event begins July 24.
The group also holds events in Columbia, Md., and Indianapolis.
