The Charlotte Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire that damaged a home early Friday in the 3000 block of North Sharon Amity Road, near Albemarle Road.
No one was injured, Charlotte fire Capt. Dennis Gist said.
Gist said 31 firefighters controlled the blaze in about a half hour. The fire started about 1 a.m.
A fire was intentionally set at the same house a month ago, Observer news partner WBTV reported. The house has since been vacant, the station reported.
