The Charlotte region can expect mostly sunny skies and highs well above normal over the next five days.
Highs are forecast to increase from 61 Tuesday and Wednesday to 63 Thursday and then 66 Friday and 69 Saturday. The normal high for this week of the year is about 55 degrees.
Sunday could bring the next chance of rain, as a stronger frontal system moves into the area, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C. The chance of rain is 30 percent during the day Sunday, 50 percent at night and 40 percent Monday.
Sunday should also be warm, with a forecast high of 68, dropping to a still mild 64 Monday.
